back again. you know, the next ten days are probably not *literally* going to kill me. i'm thinking it may come close, though.
i have to concentrate pretty exclusively on stat today and tomorrow, then there's a brief break to cram for wednesday seminar. then stat again thursday through saturday (what's this three-day-test bullshit!?!?). then seminar reading, review, paper and take-home between sunday and next wednesday. next wednesday night i'm going to two towers, or dying in the attempt. the following morning we drive back to the midwest. oh right, and somewhere in the middle of all that is jamboree, the athletic banquet and, because pennsylvania sucks, the procurement of a new driver's license.
so. like i said...back again. it's nice to be back at [home] swat, even if everyone else is as crazy as i am. it's very beautiful here just now--much warmer than minnesota, but with *snow*!! as long as you don't get too close to the former football field (which says "boobs" in big letters), the winter scenery is fantastic. i'm just sad that while i was busy not getting my rhodes, i missed all the good snowball-fighting. it still looks great, but as usual in this climate, the actual snow is not the powdery, puffy substance i grew up with but rather a dense, wet, crusty, icy mass. i would rant about pennsylvania's total snow-removal ineptitude, but i don't currently have the energy. better to wrap up in my scarf and stare fixedly out the window, where it's all glittery and blue and yellow and white.
