so now it's drizzling over our snow. one sad thing about swat's beautiful stone architecture is its consequent wet-day darkness--everything, from bare trees to slate sidewalks to, well, parrish (which i'm looking at just now), seems to suck up light like a sponge. i half expect the street lights to go on at any minute.
jamboree tonight, and as usual everyone is scrambling madly, trying to get ready. i just realized that grapevine is the only group singing four songs, and that the reason we are the only group singing four songs is that we were the first to have our set list and soloists figured out. wow. now, if we could just clean up all the transitions, we'd be fine.
work-wise things are chugging along. finished my stat project and the short paper for tonight's seminar (yes, seminar directly after jambo. don't ask.) and started drafting the last seminar paper. which is a good thing, considering it was due monday.
i wish that i had something poetic or significant to say right now; the look of the day makes me think i should. come to think of it, the very end of a really...fraught...semester makes me think i should too. unfortunately, there is the problem where i actually have to Get Shit Done. (also the problem where i have to Maintain My Sanity, but that's a lesser concern just now.) so...i'm going to get shit done, and accept the fact that i won't be able to write well about politics or personal stuff until it's all over. so you'll hear about whatever weather i can see out the windows of mccabe, and you'll hear about me getting papers done, and not getting papers done, and...that's about it? we'll see.
