in a bizarre twist, condi rice was confirmed, 85-13, on the same day that the immoral conflict she helped lie us into killed 36 more americans. as well as, i'm sure, some number of iraqis...but apparently the times doesn't really care about those deaths.

at least minnesota has something to be proud of:
