today is the first day of classes, and i'm shopping "institutions and transitions in democracy" and "american national elections." both will include some undergrads. we'll see how that goes.

tied for third at the pub quiz last night, which means that, figuring my two beers, i didn't profit. on the other hand, the wet dream team is shaping up to be a regular powerhouse, and i am glad of that.
