more sleeping less agonizing!
more maximizing less satisficing!
more intrinsic less extrinsic!
i realize that the exciting more/less/exclamation point format doesn't really allow for the seriousness with which i've thought about a few of my hopes for the new year. the presidential election, sure, but also progress toward peace in iraq, some sort of resolution for kenya and pakistan, a less violent colombia, a halt to the slide in DRC...on and on and, unfortunately, on.
