john edwards! all snotty "blue dog" comments aside, i can live with that. edwards is a good campaigner. he's attractive, as politicians go. he's southern. oh, and he's not dick cheney, always a big plus.

seriously though, i think this is the best option we had, certainly better than gephardt or vilsack, neither of whom is quite as engaging as...any other animate being.
