no, i didn't forget to come back from the weekend. i've just been more diligent at work than is usual during the past couple of days. also i have nothing enlightening to say about the news.

i went to grapevine's seniors concert on saturday night. it was gorgeous. they were gorgeous. and hey! i helped build them! on the way there, jenny (sr) and i talked about how the '04 seniors were "our first freshmen"--the first "class" of grapes that we auditioned. they were, and are, an amazing [oh my lord, i almost typed "bunch"] group. the difference between grapevine's sound in 1999 (not to mention 2000 and 2001) and grapevine's sound today is...wow...overwhelming.
