ralph nader: what an asshat!

funny, i just had a conversation about nader's ridiculous ignorance of american electoral institutions on monday night. it's too bad. after all, i'd like to be able to support him, and i think that in many respects he's been an important and effective gadfly. however, i am also of the opinion that gadflies who prefer radical, ignorant bliss to the prospect of actual change -- especially in the face of something as dangerous as another bush administration -- deserve to be squashed.

note especially the part where it's OK for him to run because all his big famous liberal supporters have deserted him. yeesh.
