it's a scandal, it's a outrage. (and yes, rogers and hammerstein DID write a, not an, outrage. just fyi.)

seriously, though, the marriage-amendment sponsors infuriate me, occasionally (now, for example) to the extent that i can't even say anything coherent about it.

check out the argument, seemingly central to the republicans' thinking on this, that queer people can't, don't or shouldn't raise children. where do they get this stuff? have any of them ever read anything regarding queer families that didn't come from dr. dobson?

there's also the sponsor's opinion, which would merely be charmingly antiquated if it didn't seem to be gaining some sort of foothold, that evangelical christians' "personal interest" in a queer-free america somehow outweighs barney frank's "personal interest" in HIS OWN LIFE.
