because i am mean and snarky, my favorite part is the lawyer for the conservatives who said, "it's a mockery to democracy."

because i am from the upper midwest, my other favorite part is the couple who flew in from robbinsdale, MN, to get married.

because i am a human being, my really-favorite part is how city employees of every stripe, and volunteers, worked around the clock to keep the marriages coming before the (probably inevitable) order to stop.
