interestingly, the new york times finally has a front-page link to an article about saturday's protest. better late than never, i always say. of course, the first couple of paragraphs use standard "organizers said" stuff (i.e., only the organizers said) about numbers and the fact that this was the biggest peace gathering since vietnam--the rest of the article is pretty positive, though.
